[00:00:00] Hello, it is Ryan and I was on a flight the other day playing one of my favorite social spin-slot games on chamba casino.com.

[00:00:09] They were also playing Chamba Casino.
[00:00:11] What incidents?

[00:00:30] Harvey, we have a problem.
[00:00:31] What is it, Lewis?
[00:00:33] Sadel didn't come through. We only have 36 hours.
[00:00:35] Shit.
[00:00:36] What's going on in your end when I'm with Gordon?
[00:00:38] We had a deal and he changed it.
[00:00:40] Change it to what?
[00:00:41] He said he'd only sign off on the restructuring if we bring him back as an amparder.
[00:00:46] We have to figure out a way to get Jessica her money without changing the by-laws.
[00:00:49] There isn't.
[00:00:50] The second we cut her a check, we don't have a leg to stand on in court.
[00:00:53] It's a one-way ticket to bankruptcy.
[00:00:54] Well, I'm not letting that son of a bitch back into the house Jessica took from him.
[00:01:00] Wait a second.
[00:01:02] You just said it.
[00:01:03] He doesn't want back in the house.
[00:01:04] He just wants to get back in the woman who took it from him.
[00:01:07] What are you saying?
[00:01:08] I'm saying, Stanley Gordon doesn't need money and he doesn't want power.
[00:01:11] He just wants the world to know that Jessica's name is dog shit.
[00:01:13] Whatever you're about to say...
[00:01:14] Hear me out.
[00:01:16] If we put out a public statement that throws Jessica under the bus
[00:01:19] and disabows her completely...
[00:01:20] No way.
[00:01:21] Harvey, she fell on the sword for us already.
[00:01:22] And now you're saying you want to discreet the body.
[00:01:24] I am not saying that.
[00:01:25] Now I hate this just as much as you, but we do this.
[00:01:28] Jessica gets paid.
[00:01:30] We are free and clear.
[00:01:31] And we go back to Gordon with this kind of counter.
[00:01:33] I guarantee you he will say yes.
[00:01:36] I'm not doing it.
[00:01:42] Harvey, we have about a day to get Jessica her money.
[00:01:45] What if I write it up, get Gordon to sign off and ask Jessica if it's okay?
[00:01:50] You can do whatever you want.
[00:01:51] I'm not putting my name on that paper.
[00:01:55] Toots season seven, episode 11 is over.
[00:01:59] Have you ready to hear us talk about hard truths and suits yourself?
[00:02:03] I'm Rob Sustino back here with the guy who knows what's in the back of the freezer.
[00:02:08] It's Chappelle Chappelle Harriot.
[00:02:11] Rob, I'm good.
[00:02:13] And I am no longer associated with this law firm.
[00:02:16] I had to take my name off the door.
[00:02:18] You did?
[00:02:19] You did?
[00:02:20] No, no, I would never.
[00:02:21] But Jessica did.
[00:02:22] Jessica did.
[00:02:23] Yeah, but I think Jessica's really getting shafted here.
[00:02:26] I mean, she came back for no reason.
[00:02:28] Said that she had something to do with this and then not only is she getting this barred
[00:02:31] also is getting her name drag through the mud here for what?
[00:02:36] Exactly.
[00:02:38] I don't even understand this from the hard men lit angle of that.
[00:02:44] Harvey wrote like this scathing editorial of like
[00:02:49] this disgrace of a person will no longer be associated with this law firm.
[00:02:55] Get the fraud that she hired.
[00:02:57] We're seriously considering making one of our senior partners, but Jessica...
[00:03:02] Jessica.
[00:03:03] Mm-mm-mm.
[00:03:04] The audacity.
[00:03:06] Yeah, they had to go.
[00:03:09] They had to smear the queen.
[00:03:12] They said, you know what, Jessica, the only way we can get a clean brick is if we say
[00:03:16] that you did all the things that Harvey actually did in real life.
[00:03:19] So hired this fraud who burst into your office with a suitcase full of weed.
[00:03:25] The weed.
[00:03:26] And then you broke them out of prison, all the things that Harvey's done.
[00:03:31] Jessica's admitted to she's just barred.
[00:03:34] She's going back to Chicago with, you know, and leaving New York in the past.
[00:03:39] But on the way out, they had to throw a little dirt on her name.
[00:03:41] And Harvey didn't even want to do it at first.
[00:03:43] I loved watching him go.
[00:03:45] No, no, that's not happening.
[00:03:47] Only for Lewis to be like, yeah, it is Jessica to fold and say it is happening as well.
[00:03:52] And then we all come to the consensus that this is no longer PSL.
[00:03:55] It's just SL.
[00:03:56] Just SL.
[00:03:58] And so yes, that fricking this other partner Stanley Gordon gets to frame this editorial,
[00:04:07] put it up on his wall.
[00:04:09] Jessica's name is run through the mud.
[00:04:12] And so I guess we'll see a new version of SL coming up here in these upcoming episodes.
[00:04:20] This episode 7-11, happy 7-11.
[00:04:23] 7-11, yes.
[00:04:24] I love this.
[00:04:25] I love this.
[00:04:26] Toast of Slurpee here to our suits rewatch.
[00:04:32] Yeah.
[00:04:33] I guess this is like a lucky episode or something.
[00:04:35] It wasn't so lucky for Jessica.
[00:04:37] We went you right.
[00:04:38] We did meet Gordon.
[00:04:39] She cracked out of the name partner.
[00:04:41] Yeah.
[00:04:42] This man here, I didn't like this guy.
[00:04:46] But I liked his energy.
[00:04:47] You know, he's like, yeah, so Jessica stole my company and I know you all need help.
[00:04:52] So I just really want to rub it in Jessica's face that I'm back baby.
[00:04:55] You're like, okay, well, you're not back.
[00:04:57] You're not back but we'll still rub it in her face and will you be okay with that?
[00:05:01] Yeah, that's cool.
[00:05:02] That's cool.
[00:05:03] So I did kind of like that this guy was like, well, you got to bring me in.
[00:05:06] I've got to be a new name partner.
[00:05:08] And I was kind of here for it because I kind of feel like that when suits has been
[00:05:12] it's best.
[00:05:13] It's like there's somebody like in the building that is their enemy that they hate, like a
[00:05:18] Daniel Hardman, you know, Jack Soloff, you know, I feel like that that creates some good.
[00:05:24] Well, Lewis also has to be that person but I kind of like when Lewis is like on the team
[00:05:29] with everybody, I feel like that it's to for Lewis to go back and be like the heel just
[00:05:37] feels like really Lewis.
[00:05:38] So I feel like we needed to be another person.
[00:05:40] Like I was hoping that they would bring Gordon back in and that they were going to have
[00:05:44] to deal with him and him just being an a hall to everybody but it doesn't seem like that's
[00:05:49] going to be the case.
[00:05:51] No, and they're still looking for us in your partner.
[00:05:53] That was their whole thing.
[00:05:54] They want to go.
[00:05:55] What about Mike Ross?
[00:05:56] Yes.
[00:05:57] Stop saying that.
[00:05:58] They need to stop saying Mike Ross's name.
[00:06:00] Mike Ross has only been a lawyer for about four months.
[00:06:04] Somebody should have hit Harvey over the head with a steel chair when he said that.
[00:06:08] Right.
[00:06:09] Somebody should have given him like a wedgie.
[00:06:11] The Elkabong with a guitar.
[00:06:14] It's like Harvey.
[00:06:16] The same man should have come in and just like ushered Harvey out of the room.
[00:06:21] Right.
[00:06:22] So I grabbed the hook and just pull him away like Michigan, Jay Frog, you know, it's
[00:06:27] so stupid.
[00:06:28] Harvey this man has been a lawyer on paper for like four months.
[00:06:33] He just got out of prison.
[00:06:34] You just released an editorial about how just cause of fraud.
[00:06:39] Why would you want this man's name on the door?
[00:06:41] He's been a junior partner for all of four days.
[00:06:43] His head is not right in fairness to Harvey.
[00:06:45] No Harvey is going through a lot.
[00:06:47] It helps when you're not if you're not sleeping with your therapist, maybe you could get therapy.
[00:06:51] That's all I'm saying.
[00:06:52] Yeah.
[00:06:53] All I'm saying Harvey go back to therapy.
[00:06:55] I yell at Lewis about going to therapy Harvey.
[00:06:57] You are not exempt.
[00:06:58] Go to therapy and don't then don't sleep with her.
[00:07:00] Mm hmm.
[00:07:01] Yeah.
[00:07:02] That would be good.
[00:07:03] I deal with a lot of the fallout from the last episode.
[00:07:07] No time jump.
[00:07:08] This is literally like five seconds after episode 10, even though six months have passed
[00:07:14] in the real time this episode airs March 28th, 2018 now as we're getting closer and closer
[00:07:20] to, I mean, still five years ago, but closer and closer to when we are recording these podcasts.
[00:07:28] And so Harvey is dealing with Donna Kistim.
[00:07:32] She says she didn't feel anything.
[00:07:35] It's unclear if Harvey felt anything, but he goes home immediately tells Dr. A guard moving
[00:07:41] with me.
[00:07:42] She's like, this is weird.
[00:07:43] Where's this coming from?
[00:07:44] No reason.
[00:07:45] Very clear.
[00:07:46] It's very clear that he felt something right.
[00:07:48] He's like, uh, that was weird.
[00:07:50] Also I need you to come to strike me from this thing that happened.
[00:07:53] So move in with me.
[00:07:54] So I have an excuse to not explore things with Donna.
[00:07:56] They really felt like, well, he wants to be able to go back and be like, well, Paul and
[00:08:00] I are serious.
[00:08:01] You know, uh, we stay together, Donna.
[00:08:03] Don't be a home wrecker.
[00:08:05] But in reality, it just, it's very transparent.
[00:08:08] I think Dr. A guard sees right through it.
[00:08:10] She says is there a reason why you're acting like this all of a sudden?
[00:08:13] You just gave me a key last.
[00:08:14] No reason.
[00:08:15] Nope.
[00:08:16] I just, I like the way the sun comes up when you're in my apartment.
[00:08:19] It's like a brush shut up.
[00:08:20] Shut up.
[00:08:21] Harvey.
[00:08:22] That was so lame.
[00:08:24] I'm sorry.
[00:08:25] I believe in love and all that stuff, but it doesn't leave me.
[00:08:27] Mm hmm.
[00:08:28] Yeah.
[00:08:29] So ultimately then, uh, Harvey does not want to talk to Donna about this throughout the
[00:08:34] whole episode.
[00:08:35] Also, uh, Harvey is horrible to Donna throughout this whole episode.
[00:08:38] Oh yeah.
[00:08:39] Harvey sucks.
[00:08:40] And I kind of think it's warranted a little bit just a little bit because although he's
[00:08:49] being a jerk, Donna did just randomly kiss him.
[00:08:52] You know, like if a woman randomly kissed you, you would have to completely disavow that
[00:08:56] woman because your wife would murder you.
[00:08:59] And so Harvey's like, uh, and if it was the other way around, it would be like, uh, you
[00:09:05] very differently.
[00:09:06] Donna had a boyfriend and Harvey just like plants one on her.
[00:09:10] Right.
[00:09:11] Exactly.
[00:09:12] It's like Harvey get off of me.
[00:09:13] What are you doing?
[00:09:14] I mean, don't let us just say you got a therapy jail even, but Donna does it.
[00:09:17] Harvey's like, oh, Donna is so annoying.
[00:09:20] Get away from me.
[00:09:21] But she's like, Harvey, we gotta talk about it.
[00:09:23] Like no, no, we don't.
[00:09:25] You should have talked about it instead of kissing me.
[00:09:27] We might told you to tell me how you felt.
[00:09:29] He did not say go and plan your lips on me in the middle of an office, but Donna's like,
[00:09:33] come on Harvey.
[00:09:34] This is us.
[00:09:35] We've done worse.
[00:09:36] We're the nastier, freaky or things two years ago.
[00:09:39] Aren't you?
[00:09:40] Cannot be alert.
[00:09:41] Right.
[00:09:42] What's the problem?
[00:09:43] He's like, I haven't even told Paula.
[00:09:45] Harvey has not even told Paula that back in the day him and Donna had a thing.
[00:09:49] You know, Paula's not dumb.
[00:09:51] So she's wise enough to know that something, there's like chemistry between the two that
[00:09:55] love each other probably romantically, but even though they refuse to explore it.
[00:10:00] But she does not know that back in the gap, they had their moment.
[00:10:04] And so Donna's like, I mean, I just kissed you this time last time.
[00:10:08] Imagine I mean, what if Paula found out about that?
[00:10:11] So Harvey has to eventually go and be honest about that too.
[00:10:16] And we've not really addressed this question over the course of 103 episodes of suits.
[00:10:21] Do Donna and Harvey belong together?
[00:10:24] We have not really come out as are we, and we don't even have a ship name for them.
[00:10:29] Are we?
[00:10:30] Darvi?
[00:10:31] Darvi?
[00:10:32] Shippers?
[00:10:33] Darvi.
[00:10:34] Darvi shippers.
[00:10:35] I think I can't be a Darvi shipper if they're not a Darvi shipper.
[00:10:38] I don't think that Harvey would let Donna have the first part.
[00:10:41] Oh, so Harvna.
[00:10:44] Harvna?
[00:10:45] Harvna.
[00:10:46] Harvna.
[00:10:47] Harvna, Harvna, Harvna.
[00:10:48] Harvna.
[00:10:49] This is, I don't know.
[00:10:50] I think that's a theme.
[00:10:52] They don't really ship each other in this episode.
[00:10:55] Donna kisses him.
[00:10:56] And he immediately says, Harvey goes there and says, Donna, tell me that cannot happen again.
[00:11:00] That will not happen against you.
[00:11:01] Yeah.
[00:11:02] Okay, Harvey, well, happen again.
[00:11:03] And then she's like, I kissed you and I felt nothing.
[00:11:07] And he's like, oh, okay.
[00:11:08] And so he says, well, I felt something because I'm human.
[00:11:12] Mm-hmm.
[00:11:13] Oh, okay.
[00:11:14] Well, you know, we don't have to act on those things.
[00:11:16] She reeled it so far back in that I almost believed that she felt nothing.
[00:11:21] You know?
[00:11:22] No, I did believe it.
[00:11:23] I felt like that.
[00:11:24] Yeah.
[00:11:25] I don't think that she was lying about this.
[00:11:28] It's hard for me though because it's kind of like something drove her to make, to do
[00:11:32] the kiss, right?
[00:11:33] Like, so there is something there making you want to kiss as far as I don't just walk up
[00:11:37] on people randomly.
[00:11:38] Let me kiss you to see if I like you.
[00:11:39] It's like, no, I like you.
[00:11:41] Thus, I want to kiss you.
[00:11:43] So I was like, there's once that urge to go kiss this man popped in her head, something's
[00:11:48] there.
[00:11:49] I don't know what it is but there's something.
[00:11:51] So for her to be like, nope, back to normal.
[00:11:53] There is no drama here.
[00:11:55] Everything's just rewind the entire last episode and pretend Mike Ross never said anything
[00:11:59] to me.
[00:12:00] Like Donna, all this pining and stuff that you've been doing is hating on Paula.
[00:12:04] It's coming from something.
[00:12:06] So tell me what it is.
[00:12:07] Are you thinking?
[00:12:08] I think she's going to steal your best friend from you.
[00:12:11] You know, now that he's with Paula, he won't be at a be your bestie because it very much
[00:12:15] felt like something drove you to go and put your lips on this man in the middle of his
[00:12:20] office.
[00:12:21] It's almost like that she's struggling with that, okay, Harvey is her work husband and
[00:12:26] it's like, wait, hold on.
[00:12:27] Is it?
[00:12:28] I'm having feelings for him.
[00:12:29] Like, my real husband, like, oh no, wait, hold on, just my work husband.
[00:12:32] But I don't know if it's like that she woke up something in Harvey that's freaking
[00:12:36] him out.
[00:12:37] And also Harvey says, you turned me into the thing that I've always hated.
[00:12:41] You made me into a cheater.
[00:12:43] Yeah.
[00:12:44] And we know that's Harvey's like least favorite thing in the world.
[00:12:47] He's like, oh, now I cheated.
[00:12:49] She's like, no, you didn't.
[00:12:50] You just standing there and he even tells Paula when she's getting upset with her.
[00:12:54] She's like, also you mad at me because Donna made me a cheater.
[00:12:57] She's like, no, I'm mad at you because you took three days to tell me this.
[00:13:00] And you also have been lying to me about or at least am omitting that y'all been sleeping
[00:13:05] together or have slept together.
[00:13:06] Whatever the case may be.
[00:13:07] But he's like, but I'm not a cheater.
[00:13:10] She's like, no one's accusing you of being a cheater.
[00:13:11] Nobody.
[00:13:12] Nobody's accusing you of being a cheater.
[00:13:14] Apologize can look at Harvey and tell that there's got to be something here between him
[00:13:17] and Donna that is making them keep coming back together.
[00:13:20] This making him be willing to go to jail for her and have panic attacks for her and making
[00:13:26] her kiss him in the middle of the office place.
[00:13:28] There's something there.
[00:13:29] I don't know how many times they can be like who's they're trying to convince by telling
[00:13:32] us over and over again.
[00:13:33] Like, there's nothing.
[00:13:34] Because we can only go off of what we see.
[00:13:37] And we see it all.
[00:13:39] Yeah.
[00:13:40] So I don't know if the show wants us to be rooting for Donna and Harvey to get together,
[00:13:45] but give it to say it's not really on my wish list.
[00:13:48] Well, that's the thing.
[00:13:50] If it's not rooting for us for Donna and Harvey to be together, is it rooting for Donna and
[00:13:54] Harvey to be with anyone else?
[00:13:56] Because no disrespect the Paula A guard.
[00:13:58] Is this the whirlwind romance you thought you'd be rooting for in this show, Rob?
[00:14:02] Is this the one?
[00:14:04] Not really.
[00:14:05] I feel like that Harvey and Scotty have had more chemistry than Harvey and Dr. A guard.
[00:14:12] I'm telling you, I'm still holding out for Harvey and Jessica.
[00:14:15] Look, after I feel like there's better chemistry on these shows even when Donna was messing
[00:14:21] with the murderer Stephen Huntley, you know, it was cute.
[00:14:25] That was like, okay.
[00:14:27] But now since then she's dated an unknown person that we never got to solve.
[00:14:30] Mark Metta.
[00:14:31] And then we saw Mark Metta.
[00:14:34] But even Mark Metta was like an adulterer, like getting married and Donna can't go through
[00:14:38] with us.
[00:14:39] So it's leading me to believe that Donna is going to find nobody and Harvey is going to
[00:14:43] find nobody because this Dr. Paula thing is just there's nothing.
[00:14:46] I'm sorry.
[00:14:47] It just doesn't exist.
[00:14:48] Okay.
[00:14:49] So Harvey and Donna, like they kind of get back on decent terms by the end of the episode.
[00:14:57] But there were some icy moments in this episode where Donna is looking to interview a new
[00:15:01] senior partner and they have like a very embarrassing conversation in front of this guy.
[00:15:09] Kyle Clemente, who they bring in for an interview and Harvey is basically like completely like
[00:15:15] conflating the whole situation with Donna into this guy's interview where he's like, oh,
[00:15:21] I'm sorry.
[00:15:22] Did you thought you were getting into a relationship?
[00:15:25] And then Donna teased you with the prospect of something new, like, oh, I'm sorry about
[00:15:30] that.
[00:15:31] Kyle Clemente is like, should I leave?
[00:15:34] This isn't about me.
[00:15:35] I'd hate to think that you love your firm and that Donna set up a meeting to tease you
[00:15:40] away from something that you very much love.
[00:15:43] You have to forgive my colleague because sometimes she can be impulsive.
[00:15:47] You know, you just hate to give the wrong type of person a position higher up, making decisions.
[00:15:51] You know, I don't want to rush into that.
[00:15:53] It could be a mistake that I would have made.
[00:15:55] I won't do it this time.
[00:15:56] Kyle Clemente actually you can't be seen your partner.
[00:15:58] I was like, okay, Harvey, calm down.
[00:16:01] Yeah.
[00:16:02] He he he sheamed Donna in front of this man basically and and Randolph is hot shot who
[00:16:09] had been interviewing with scatting.
[00:16:10] You know, we always hear about scatting but I think we're going to see scatting.
[00:16:14] Yeah.
[00:16:15] What do you think about the law firm of scatting?
[00:16:19] They're over there interviewing with scatting.
[00:16:21] Is that where Missy Dietler works?
[00:16:23] Because we always hear about her too.
[00:16:25] Yeah, was Missy Dietler ever shown on the episode?
[00:16:28] I kind of wanted to Google Missy Dietler.
[00:16:30] Yeah.
[00:16:31] Well, I don't want to know if she's going to come like that's my thing is like I would love
[00:16:34] to be surprised because I don't think we've ever seen her because this person is so hot.
[00:16:40] So hot.
[00:16:41] It's just like, we got to keep her money.
[00:16:44] You remember Missy Dietler?
[00:16:45] I have you heard of Missy Dietler.
[00:16:47] It's like, oh my god.
[00:16:49] Missy Dietler.
[00:16:50] Oh, is she?
[00:16:51] Who the hell are they?
[00:16:52] Yeah.
[00:16:53] So that's what I'm working on.
[00:16:54] I want to see her walking around slow motion entrance all that good stuff.
[00:16:57] Yeah.
[00:16:58] Okay.
[00:16:59] So yeah, Missy Dietler, I believe that she is the character who went mudding with Lewis.
[00:17:06] Yeah.
[00:17:07] He went mudding with, no, yeah.
[00:17:10] And Lewis had his premature mud.
[00:17:12] That was Missy Dietler.
[00:17:13] Yeah.
[00:17:14] Missy Dietler.
[00:17:15] Rachel said, I don't think she works here anymore, which I would think that they would know exactly
[00:17:20] who the people are that work at.
[00:17:22] Like why is Mike with a photographic memory talking about a person that doesn't even
[00:17:26] work here anymore?
[00:17:28] That is a great question of which will probably never be answered.
[00:17:32] So when Mike and Rachel are having that conversation about Mike's talking about Missy Dietler,
[00:17:36] she was hot.
[00:17:37] Rachel talks about like, oh, Alex Williams, he's hot.
[00:17:40] Like I was a little uncomfortable with that.
[00:17:43] I was too, because okay.
[00:17:46] Fanta time to go out Missy Dietler, a woman who we've never seen, you know, who may
[00:17:51] just be an urban legend here on suits.
[00:17:53] Okay, fine.
[00:17:54] I mean, it's bad because Mike Ross does have a photographic memory.
[00:17:57] So if he says he's thinking about her, he can see her.
[00:18:00] But Rachel, Alex is down the hall.
[00:18:03] You know?
[00:18:04] And no disrespect to Rachel, but she even haven't wandered in eyes.
[00:18:08] I'm just going to question.
[00:18:09] Right.
[00:18:10] Right.
[00:18:11] Like I think it's very uncomfortable that Mike and Rachel are talking about like, yeah,
[00:18:15] Alex Williams is hot.
[00:18:16] He's like, if you cheat on me again, got down.
[00:18:19] You know?
[00:18:20] Not even like, hey, you know Alex is a good looking guy.
[00:18:24] She said hot.
[00:18:25] Yeah, she said hot.
[00:18:26] And he's like, I can fix that.
[00:18:27] You know?
[00:18:28] So, you know, I think Mike Ross probably needs to, I won't say you keep an eye on that
[00:18:33] one, but it would make my antenna go up just a little bit.
[00:18:35] Just a little bit.
[00:18:36] I'd be like, okay, Rachel, slow down.
[00:18:37] All right.
[00:18:38] So speaking of Alex Williams, so he ends up giving a case to Mike from quality foods.
[00:18:44] I feel like we've dealt with food companies before.
[00:18:46] Is quality foods a company that has been brought back?
[00:18:51] I don't think it sounded like it.
[00:18:54] But the way they were addressing it this time was that this was Alex's client.
[00:18:58] So I would hope that I mean, I would assume that you know, Alex already had this relationship
[00:19:03] and it wasn't a peer-suspector lit relationship.
[00:19:06] Yeah, it's a Fortune 500 company and they're having a fight with their distributors.
[00:19:11] They're supposed to be the company that their water tasted like crap.
[00:19:14] No, and that's why I said, I thought it was them at first, but I don't think so.
[00:19:20] But they did have trash water that company you're talking about.
[00:19:24] And there was another like, they had a competitor.
[00:19:26] One of them could have been quality foods.
[00:19:29] Such an ironic name though calling your brand quality foods, you all have trash water.
[00:19:37] But yeah, it wasn't it like.
[00:19:39] Yeah, so I think that was Durham foods.
[00:19:41] Durham foods.
[00:19:42] According to some of my quick suits research.
[00:19:46] Yeah, the local delicacy, Durham foods.
[00:19:49] So here we have this Fortune 500 company.
[00:19:54] Alex gives it to Mike and says, hey, you know, this is your chance to land a big client.
[00:19:58] Also, you know, it's me paying you back for the whole prison day.
[00:20:03] And so initially, this is supposed to be something where Mike comes in and he just has this major client.
[00:20:11] It's supposed to be really cutting dry, right?
[00:20:12] But eventually it looks like they are hiding something and they're getting basically some more money on the back end
[00:20:19] from these premiums that they have.
[00:20:22] They're apparently there's like this act of God clause that if they lose a bunch of their product,
[00:20:27] then you kind of just write it off.
[00:20:28] And so they've been writing it off, but it looks like that there's something else going on.
[00:20:33] And Mike just follows his gut with this one.
[00:20:35] We really don't have any reason to believe that there's any evidence to point to like otherwise.
[00:20:40] But in the conversation with Mike, he's like, so what about the product is being lost?
[00:20:46] And it's like they have an answer for everything he's asking like right off the top.
[00:20:49] And so he kind of is ready to back away from it and be like, ah, no, there's something else here.
[00:20:54] And I need to investigate.
[00:20:55] Yeah.
[00:20:55] The problem with Mike is that he has an act of God complex.
[00:20:59] And so he thinks he has a thinks he's God complex.
[00:21:04] Yeah, exactly.
[00:21:05] This man, he wants to be the hero all the time.
[00:21:09] He always wants to be doing some investigative journalism and turning over things
[00:21:14] and look what I found slamming folders.
[00:21:17] And so Rachel Cozum is, hey, you think you want to just back away from this thing?
[00:21:22] Are you sure you're just not on a witch hunt looking for something to love this?
[00:21:27] Yeah, because it's valid.
[00:21:29] You know, don't give her up.
[00:21:30] Mike Ross is correct in this episode, but he doesn't know that.
[00:21:34] You know, he's really just following his gut and this instinct that he has to always be saving something.
[00:21:39] And so yeah, Alex and Rachel both tell him you might just be digging around for something
[00:21:45] because you're used to saving lives at this point.
[00:21:47] And when he gets ready to back off, it turns out that he's actually correct.
[00:21:51] And that's when we see that he has a photographic memory for the inside of the freezer as well.
[00:21:55] Yeah.
[00:21:56] So I kind of wish that they would have just let it be that there wasn't something else
[00:22:01] a foot here.
[00:22:02] Like I think I really like that where Rachel is like, Mike,
[00:22:05] there's not always some big conspiracy.
[00:22:08] It doesn't sometimes it's just a regular case.
[00:22:11] He's like, I guess you're right.
[00:22:13] But then she cracks the whole thing open and finds out like, no,
[00:22:16] I'd actually like every other case.
[00:22:19] There's actually a huge conspiracy of commit fraud and do this whole big white collar crime.
[00:22:33] Yeah, it is like we want the show to not reinforce to Mike all the problematic stuff.
[00:22:40] Mike has been doing because he's been getting away with it.
[00:22:42] I said, yeah, Harvey told me to not to do a thing, but I'm doing it anyway.
[00:22:47] Yeah.
[00:22:48] And this is the same person that Harvey said, I cannot trust and the same person Harvey
[00:22:51] is toying with the idea of making it see your partner.
[00:22:53] Like this is the same person.
[00:22:55] And so Jessica was supposed to go, Harvey's like, I can't even tell you anything because
[00:22:59] I think you're going to get Alex thrown in prison because you cannot help yourself.
[00:23:02] He's like, what?
[00:23:04] Me?
[00:23:05] No.
[00:23:06] So the show gives us an opportunity to say Mike, you need to chill on that.
[00:23:10] But even this time, they're like, but you're still right.
[00:23:12] So maybe we don't chill on it.
[00:23:13] Maybe just keep following your instincts.
[00:23:15] Episode ends with Mike and Rachel talking about like, hey, we need to start focusing on the
[00:23:21] important things, focusing on our wedding.
[00:23:23] I thought that they weren't even having a date at the plaza for a couple of years that
[00:23:28] they weren't going to focus on it.
[00:23:30] Now do you think are we getting a Mike and Rachel wedding before the end of season seven?
[00:23:35] Yeah, remember we gave up on the plaza and Harvey said that he's going to give them
[00:23:39] their apartment and then but then I think what got it back.
[00:23:43] No, I thought Robert Zayn had agreed to maybe give them his home or something similar
[00:23:48] to that where Robert Zayn showed up at Harvey's apartment.
[00:23:51] You're not having you're not getting married here.
[00:23:53] Stop it.
[00:23:54] But I don't know.
[00:23:56] I know they put off the wedding, but I know that this is so time is a flat circle here
[00:24:01] to just things happen and we can't tell if next weekend.
[00:24:04] Next weekend.
[00:24:05] We'll day or yeah.
[00:24:06] Billion years.
[00:24:07] So every episode we've seen prior to this when they talk about the wedding, it's always
[00:24:10] let's focus on ourselves.
[00:24:11] Let's focus on ourselves in this episode.
[00:24:13] Rachel's like all right, that's enough.
[00:24:14] We did it for four episodes.
[00:24:15] Let's start focusing on the wedding.
[00:24:17] Hey, it's Kaylee Cuoco for Price Line.

[00:25:15] It's that easy.
[00:25:17] Chappelle, who gets the liddy here in episode 11 of season seven?
[00:25:25] Um, this is a tough one.
[00:25:28] Could be Rachel.
[00:25:29] Could be back to Rachel.
[00:25:31] It could be where it could be Rachel or it could be Lewis.
[00:25:36] We didn't really talk about Lewis, but he was the one who popped off the plan to get Jessica
[00:25:40] thrown under the bus.
[00:25:41] Yeah.
[00:25:42] After going aside there and trying to get I guess an extension on the time that they were
[00:25:46] 10 Holly Cromwell comes up of most.
[00:25:50] This Holly Cromwell could be the season seven MVP comes up every single episode.
[00:25:54] She's like a stock broker of season seven.
[00:25:58] Yeah, they got, they got to use her more.
[00:26:00] They really.
[00:26:01] It's a busy me of season seven.
[00:26:03] Every time every, every few minutes, they're like, OK, well I'll get Holly Cromwell here
[00:26:08] to save today.
[00:26:09] That guy, Sidale was the one who was on the ethics board and Lewis basically said,
[00:26:13] I'm a ruin your marriage if you don't help us out here.
[00:26:16] And he tries to the point where he even has to resign because he was still like running
[00:26:21] from Lewis, which I'm fine with that.
[00:26:23] Sidale sucked.
[00:26:24] And so that's okay with me.
[00:26:25] But ultimately he's the one who gets hard to understand it.
[00:26:28] You have to let go of Jessica and you have to let her get smeared like this.
[00:26:31] Someone has to take the fall for this fraud or it's going to be us.
[00:26:35] And so they get this fraud being handled.
[00:26:37] I think Lewis makes a good case for himself, but I do, I do like Rachel's role in this
[00:26:43] episode.
[00:26:44] So I do.
[00:26:45] I don't want to go with Rachel.
[00:26:49] Yeah, I mean she does crack this case open and does put Mike in his place.
[00:26:55] So Lewis is not a bad shout in this episode.
[00:27:00] He doesn't do anything bad, but also doesn't actually get anything done.
[00:27:04] I guess he does come up with the plan to smear Jessica's name, but I don't know.
[00:27:10] Should we be rewarding him for that?
[00:27:11] It kind of got paid.
[00:27:14] But she only got paid because they were able to sign off on the restructure and only
[00:27:18] whether they're going to sign off on the restructure is if Gordon was okay with it.
[00:27:22] Yeah, Gordon had to be okay with it because they were going to smear Jessica's name.
[00:27:25] So I think Lewis can get second place, but I still agree.
[00:27:27] I think Rachel can take it.
[00:27:28] How about this charity?
[00:27:29] I feel like that we should put Mike Ross on this case of so Gordon gives what $10 million
[00:27:36] Stanley Gordon gives $10 million to this charity, which I'm not sure if we get the name
[00:27:42] of the charity.
[00:27:44] And so, but then they found that he's just laundering the money through us.
[00:27:48] So we're just actually not going to do anything for him that we said.
[00:27:53] Yeah, we're going to spend the money and then not put his name on the building, not
[00:27:57] give him any credit and not give him money back.
[00:27:59] And so like, what's you suck?
[00:28:02] So we're going to rob you.
[00:28:05] Like that was pretty wild.
[00:28:07] Yeah.
[00:28:08] Like I did just make that decision.
[00:28:09] Like yeah, give him his money back.
[00:28:11] No, no.
[00:28:13] And then they've done it before.
[00:28:15] That was the other thing.
[00:28:15] I like, remember the time you did that with the Russians.
[00:28:18] Yeah, it's a pretty crooked charity.
[00:28:20] Yeah.
[00:28:21] Look, though there are the good guys here.
[00:28:23] They're like Mike Ross is like, yeah, we're robbing you.
[00:28:25] But you're a bad person.
[00:28:27] You're a bad person.
[00:28:28] So then man, yeah.
[00:28:29] Okay.
[00:28:30] And then we just sort of like left it at that and they're not going to put his name on
[00:28:33] the building.
[00:28:35] No, they're not Gordon lost to fight.
[00:28:37] Yeah.
[00:28:38] It looks like he's doing okay.
[00:28:40] Yeah, he's chilling.
[00:28:41] He was really just driven by hatred of Jessica at this point.
[00:28:44] She took down his firm.
[00:28:45] Yeah, he was really into it.
[00:28:46] I can't get out of any means in this area.
[00:28:47] Who's the winner?
[00:28:48] I mean, this guy is like basically like lives at a castle.
[00:28:51] And we saw that Jessica has like what?
[00:28:54] Like, it's kind of like a townhouse.
[00:28:56] She has Jeff Malone.
[00:28:59] Yeah, something but she did not live in like in a state like Stanley Gordon does
[00:29:04] with a golf course.
[00:29:05] No, Stanley Gordon had a golf course at his home.
[00:29:06] Yeah.
[00:29:07] That maybe he lives out in like Connecticut or something and Jessica lives in the city.
[00:29:11] Yeah.
[00:29:12] There's definitely a disparity in the in the in the wealth that we see though
[00:29:17] between the two of them because he's like hanging out.
[00:29:19] He doesn't care to go back to law at all.
[00:29:22] His name's on his name's off the off the firm at this point.
[00:29:25] So like look, I'm just here for for the vibes.
[00:29:27] Yeah, I didn't want Jessica's name off and then you can leave me alone forever.
[00:29:30] Also, you know, Jessica's like paying for Harvey to go to Harvard Law.
[00:29:34] Like as Lewis has pointed out maybe just because actually not that good with money.
[00:29:38] No, Jessica and Harvey both are not that great with money.
[00:29:41] And that's why they don't have nice things.
[00:29:43] Whereas Lewis getting forward to keep the the farmer floating.
[00:29:47] Okay.
[00:29:48] No real references here in this episode except that Mike wants some Star Wars Legos
[00:29:54] to put up in his office.
[00:29:55] I mean, kind of think Rachel might break off the engagement at that point once he's putting Legos on the shelves.
[00:30:01] Oh no, they got that wet paint sign in a random air for the show who knows what they're with their list list.
[00:30:07] I was trying to look for more things to talk about in Mike and Rachel's apartment
[00:30:10] but we just really get a good view in this episode.
[00:30:14] What do you think about the contents of Mike and Rachel's freezer?
[00:30:17] Are you buying that Rachel is making lasagna's after she gets home from these long days at PSL?
[00:30:23] I think the lasagna it was one of those like stofers, you know, just pop it in the oven
[00:30:28] you know, Costco or Sam's, you know, because we've never seen Mike Ross cook.
[00:30:33] So I'd have to I'd have to cook once.
[00:30:36] I feel like I remember him like Rachel coming home and he was like working there always
[00:30:40] making like spaghetti sauce.
[00:30:42] Yeah, it's always stirring something on the stove.
[00:30:45] But yeah, I feel like she just bought him a bunch of TV dinners basically so that when she's at work
[00:30:49] he doesn't come home and starve.
[00:30:50] You know they get home in the ridiculous hours too.
[00:30:52] So I don't really know if they ever have time to just sit down and have a real meal these days.
[00:30:56] Yeah one other quick suits thing that I noticed so like this seem where Mike and Rachel are
[00:31:00] in the library. Rachel has like nine books open.
[00:31:03] Can any of the associates tell us like what is in these books that we constantly are trying
[00:31:08] to go back and reference like is there some like case history that's in these books?
[00:31:14] Like what shouldn't this all be on the internet like does is what is Rachel working on
[00:31:19] that requires her to have nine different like old dusty books open.
[00:31:25] Oh you feel like they should be digital about now like this.
[00:31:27] I would think so if she's like looking at like okay, okay, let this case precedent like isn't
[00:31:32] this all online. Yeah, I'm sure it is now but I don't know even I mean you just 2018.
[00:31:40] Yeah, I mean but even today in my field I found myself like with a sprawled out bunch of books
[00:31:44] because I'm looking for a very specific line that I know came from this book and I can't find it
[00:31:49] or I've read it so many times it's easier for me to just go grab it real quick than to go Google it
[00:31:54] and I really don't know I'm asking for you know the all of the associates like no actually you do
[00:32:01] like after you're constantly in these books. Yeah, I wanted to I wonder how often the associates
[00:32:07] or even you know are real life lawyers that listen to this podcast actually sit down with a bunch
[00:32:13] with a stack of books and say okay, I'm going to just pour through all of these and find what I need
[00:32:17] say I'm sure a control if on the right key of these days could could do that work for you but
[00:32:23] yeah, no, I'm not a lawyer. Okay, all right, let's look at some feedback. Okay, Patty asks us about
[00:32:30] this episode. Is it considered a pop culture reference when the series quotes itself? The line
[00:32:35] when someone pulls a gun on you, you either take it or pull out a bigger one or do one of another
[00:32:39] 146 things is a variance on a line that's being used multiple times in the series over and over again
[00:32:45] do you think it's a pop culture reference when suits is quoting itself? No, yeah, I don't think so
[00:32:54] no, I don't think so. I don't think so but I do think that they use that quote way too many times
[00:32:59] you know, it happens at least twice a season. Yeah, um also about this episode, David says
[00:33:09] is Harvey's response to Donna your judgment sucks the best or the worst dig ever. I think for
[00:33:14] anyone else to be the worst but since Donna's superpower is her judgment, it might be the best.
[00:33:19] Is Donna's superpower her judgment? It is it is she she she pride herself on being able to know
[00:33:27] what other people want and to put into their business and tell them how to get it what they need
[00:33:32] what they need to do even in this episode her and Harvey are arguing about her kissing Harvey
[00:33:37] and she goes Harvey. Well, I recommend you go talk to Paula. He said, I don't give a damn what you
[00:33:41] recommend you get this. Come over here making recommendations and stuff like that when this is your fault.
[00:33:46] No, well I recommend you think about why you haven't told Paula about her kiss for two years.
[00:33:50] Like, right? I mean, I'm sorry Donna like you you recommend I recommend that you don't kiss
[00:33:55] random people that you're not dating. How about that? Yeah, you know, um so no, I think there's the
[00:33:59] best dig because it hit her right right there right there in the solar place. Yeah and maybe
[00:34:03] that's what she needs because I actually disagree on what her superpower is like she's kind of
[00:34:08] like a profiler where she is like her superpower is that she's able to like sort of like read people
[00:34:14] but I don't think that her personal judgment is necessarily the best. She's made plenty of questionable
[00:34:20] decisions over the years so I don't know if necessarily like I mean, maybe she might think her
[00:34:27] judgment is her superpower, but like when she's able to like okay well by the way that this person
[00:34:32] is sitting I can tell that you're actually rivals with that person but even when she was like in
[00:34:36] that meeting on the Donna she was like oh now I'll go back in and then I'll be able to get an offer
[00:34:41] from them and then I'll reject it and we'll get five percent more and they're kind of like we don't
[00:34:46] want this thing. We're not gonna buy a thing for the secretary. I think that's I think that's
[00:34:50] uh that's an even better point though. I think that that's what that's why it was such a good dig
[00:34:55] is because she thinks that her judgment is our and it's really the part before the judgment. It's
[00:34:59] you can read the room so you can read the situation. What she does with the information she
[00:35:03] gathers is not always correct and so that's why he's like your judgment says she's like damn yeah
[00:35:09] I could tell Lewis is wearing his like a suit that he only wears on special occasions and that
[00:35:14] means that like that's like where she has her superpower but it's not necessarily in like making
[00:35:19] the best decisions with that information. Yeah that's why Harvey hit away it hurts. Amanda asked us
[00:35:26] from a couple episodes ago. Can't believe we actually saw Lewis holding a baby but also
[00:35:30] where do they even get a baby that's small for uh from this episode usually newborns on tv shows are
[00:35:35] actually six months old but that little guy was so tiny it must have been productions actual child
[00:35:41] I actually thought of this myself because it was like the like tiniest little thing that Brian
[00:35:47] was holding. I think it was a doll. I don't think it was a real baby. Oh I don't know if we ever saw
[00:35:54] the baby's face. We saw like this little like itty bitty like arm sticking out. I think it was
[00:36:01] might have been just like a little like latex prosthetic baby. And it's just mama you know
[00:36:08] a little doll. Yeah I'm still concerned that they didn't address Lewis kidnapping that child.
[00:36:14] You know we don't know we didn't see we have not seen Brian or the baby since or the baby if you
[00:36:21] show me later on Lewis has dead baby and Brian, hopefully we can get his home I'd be like okay sounds
